This Abmart monoclonal antibody is produced by immunizing animals with a synthetic peptide (KLH-coupled) corresponding to residues 410-419 of human c-Myc (EQKLISEEDL).
Specifity
Myc-Tag (19C2) Mouse mAb detects over-expressed or recombinant proteins containing the Myc epitope tag.
Storage
Store at -20°C. Stable for one year from the date of shipment.

AbMATE-2A8 A positive control for using
19C2
|
AbMATE-19C2 is a pre-made PVDF membrane strip containing a 105 kDa Myc-tagged protein and a mouse IgG protein dot. Probing AbMATE-19C2 with 19C2 antibody on a Western experiment shall produce the following results (as shown on the right):
- 1)The 105 kDa band shall show up (reacted with 19C2)
- 2)The mouse IgG dot shall show up (reacted with anti-mouse secondary antibody)
Failure to see above result suggests that your Western experiment system is NOT
working, and likely your own Western experiment will not work with
19C2. If you see the expected band and the dot (19C2
is working), but your own experiment membrane is not what you expected, please look
for other reasons (for example, your protein sample preparation) rather than Western
system itself.
