AbMATE-2A8 A positive control for using
7G9
|
AbMATE-7G9 is a pre-made PVDF membrane strip containing a 26 kDa GFP-tagged protein and a mouse IgG protein dot. Probing AbMATE-7G9 with 7G9 antibody on a Western experiment shall produce the following results (as shown on the right):
- 1)The 26 kDa band shall show up (reacted with 7G9)
- 2)The mouse IgG dot shall show up (reacted with anti-mouse secondary antibody)
Failure to see above result suggests that your Western experiment system is NOT
working, and likely your own Western experiment will not work with
7G9. If you see the expected band and the dot (7G9
is working), but your own experiment membrane is not what you expected, please look
for other reasons (for example, your protein sample preparation) rather than Western
system itself.
