VRAC channels containing LRRC8D inhibit transport of immunoreactive cyclic dinucleotide GMP-AMP (2'-3'-cGAMP), an immune messenger produced in response to DNA virus in the cytosol . Mediates the import of the antibiotic blasticidin-S into the cell . .
